“SOO Japanese POW Card database” was funded by the research project TOYOTA Foundation and is available in cooperation with the POW Research Network Japan on 15 August 2015. You can search “POW Card” of the deceased Netherands POWs of Royal Netherlands Navy and marchant ships personnels such as KPM. 

The “Japanese POW Card” database of the deceased KNIL (Royal Netherlands Indies Army) is available at the Netherlands National Archives since 15 August 2011 as a part of our “POW Card translation database project “ funded by the program “Erfgoed van de Oorlog” of Netherlands Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport.

We made both database with special cooperation with POW Research Network Japan.
